Daily therapeutic workshops designed for managing PTSD

The farm is situated in a serene rural environment, providing an optimal setting for therapeutic activities. Each group is supported throughout the day by our qualified mental health professionals, who facilitate workshops tailored specifically to the needs of the participants. Furthermore, as an integral component of the therapeutic experience, participants engage in various farm tasks, including vegetable harvesting, sheep herding, planting, and other hands-on activities.

A partnership has been cultivated with several communities from the Western Negev that have been temporarily relocated to our region. The farm is dedicated to serving as a therapeutic refuge for community members of all ages.

Individuals from these communities are encouraged to actively participate in the farm's development and are welcomed to utilize it as a place of respite, and a home away from home.

Regional Community Partnership

Our collaboration with the Lachish regional council and the surrounding communities is of great importance, as they have actively participated in the establishment and upkeep of the farm.

This strong partnership allows local residents to contribute to the supportive therapeutic environment required for various groups affected by the ongoing conflict.

We at the farm prioritize a profound relationship with the land and nature, recognizing their therapeutic benefits. Activities such as sheep herding and care, along with the growth of our agricultural initiatives, are fundamental to our approach. Presently, we are laying the groundwork for a grape vineyard, with future plans to cultivate a variety of vegetables, herbs, olive trees, and fruit trees.

Our farm is situated in the heart of the Amatzia forest, which is abundant in plant life. As part of our processing workshops, participants engage in harvesting vegetables and herbs, which they then use in cooking sessions.

The farm's strategic location fosters an agricultural continuum, allowing us to safely expand our plots and collaborate with other farmers. Additionally, the Shekef Moshav plays a vital role in the development of the farm and assists in land preparation.
