Combat Processing Workshops

A significant number of fighters involved in the events of October 7th and the Iron Swords war have returned home in the past months. They have gone through extensive and grueling combat, often resulting in injuries and the loss of fellow soldiers. Many are struggling to recover and readjust to their pre-October 7th daily lives.

To support these fighters during their transitions and enhance their ability to cope with past experiences, we present a comprehensive team plan designed for processing combat experiences specifically for teams who took part in the war.

Teams engage in a focused experience lasting between 2 to 5 consecutive days, which includes discussions on team combat processing, therapeutic agricultural work, workshops that integrate body and mind, and team-building activities. Set in a captivating location, participants enjoy comfortable accommodations and all-inclusive dining.

The process is expertly guided by two professionals in the fields of trauma and group counseling.

The farm offers a supportive environment for individuals who find it challenging to return to their regular daily lives and attain full functionality. It caters to those who have started the recognition process by the rehabilitation department of the Ministry of Defense, or are acknowledged by them due to mental health conditions. This initiative includes a day treatment center at Lahav Farm, in collaboration with the rehabilitation department, which is available several days a week.

Those attending the day center take part in the daily functions of the farm, working with sheep, maintaining the vegetable garden, or caring for the vineyard. This active participation in farming and animal care is central to the therapeutic and rehabilitative process.

In addition to the day center, the facility offers therapy sessions, mind-body workshops, and assigns a social worker to each individual to oversee their treatment journey.
